My bro is a highschool graduate!!!!!
Alex I can´t believe you have graduated!!! Wow I am blown away. Dad sent me
some pictures and you look different. Did you cut your hair recently?
Did M$D take a video of the celebration? I feel so horrible that I
missed it. I really would have like to be there...to be part of the
family howling at you when you walked across the stage! (I would have yelled the loudest...no I would have bought a horn, no a speaker system!!). I would have loved to be your proud big sister and see the community of Hood River and all the family and friends connected to the people graduating. I don´t know if your remember when I started crying because I couldn´t see you guys in the crowd at my graduation? It was really THAT important for me to have family there, so that makes me feel so bad! I failed my duty as a sister! :( *Sigh*

Well the best I can do is celebrate now! Whew hooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GO ALEX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU ROCK BRO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Really though, gradulations, job well done.

    Love you bro,

    Back from Barcelona!
This is my first journal entry! Just got back from Barcelona today! I am very sun burned from lying on the beach, I feel asleep in one of my classes, and it really hurts to carry by backpack on my sore shoulders. I feel like an idiot for not putting on sunscreen but I didn´t realize I was getting burned because it wasn´t super hot.

In Barcelona I saw museums, walked around a street fair, saw traditional dancing in a square, went shopping, visited a castle went out at night to bars and a discoteca, and of course, went to the beach. One night my friend Eric and I went down to the beach with some people from North Carolina (they had funky accents). We climbed to the top of this structure on the beach, drank gin and pineapple juice and smoked cigarettes (Alex don´t you dare tell mom!). It was really awesome just to look out over the ocean with the full moon glistening across the water, meet people from different parts of the world, travel, and be in Spain in general and experience so many new things. I thought to myself, ¨fuck, this is like a once and a lifetime experience¨. It was a profound moment.

Also the train ride to and from Barcelona was really fun because there were six of us in a room with beds and we talked, listened to music, read magazines, told jokes etc. Sleeping on a train is super cool as well because it rocks you to sleep with its rythmn.

This upcoming weekend (I only have two days of school this week...sweet!) my boyfriend and I are going to a little town in the mountains where his parents have a house. Only fifteen people live in the town all year round! We will go hiking, visit some hotsprings and have some ¨quality¨ alone time. I am really looking forward to it. It will be nice to get away since I hung out with 40 people from my program all weekend long!

I am enjoying reading your entries Alex, though I kind of feel funny writing entries myself because you are the only one so far on my buddies list. I will have to ask around for other friends who are signed on. Hey, don´t skip too much school little brother, you are only screwing yourself. I know what senioritis is like and I did some skipping myself, but be smart about it. You have golf that makes you skip school plenty.

    Besos!
